I am an independent contractor /
consultant with 19 years of experience in video research and development. My
services are provided through VideoCortex Ltd.
My prime areas of expertise are in video manipulation, compression and interpretation.
These skills can be applied to a wide area of applications from machine vision
systems to 3G mobile phone services. I am particularly interested in real-time image
processing applications, the new
possibilities created by the broad MPEG-4 standard and the take up of high
definition video through adoption of H.264 and DVB-S2.
